Spray Pad Hours Extended as Hot Weather Continues

By David Klassen

Kids looking to cool off this weekend will be able to enjoy longer hours at the city’s spray pads.

The City of Winnipeg is extending the operating hours at several spray pads in response to the long range forecast for hot and humid weather into next week.

Spray pads will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until further notice, and include Central Park, Fort Rouge Park, Lindenwoods Community Centre, Provencher Park, River Heights Community Club, St. Norbert Community Centre and Vimy Ridge Memorial Park.
