Dancers perform at Folklorama's Pearl of the Orient Philippine Pavilion at R.B. Russell School, 364 Dufferin Avenue. (RON CANTIVEROS / FILIPINO JOURNAL)
It’s the final day to catch Week 1 pavilions at Folklorama and there’s still plenty to see.
One of the many stops on your world tour should include a visit to the Pearl of the Orient Philippine Pavilion.
Visitors are treated to a phenomenal performance by the folk dancers from Magdaragat Philippines Inc., who are celebrating their 35th anniversary.
Food items include sautéed noodles, chicken adobe and lumpia, with the choice of imported San Miguel beer, Sago at Gulaman (tapioca punch) or manjo juice to wash it all down.
Children will be kept entertained by playing a traditional parlour game called sungka.
Showtimes are tonight at 6:45 p.m., 8:15 p.m., 9:45 p.m. and 11 p.m.
