Downtown Spirit Bus (CITY OF WINNIPEG)
Folklorama performers will hop aboard the Downtown Spirit Bus today to kick off the fifth annual Spirit Week.
The Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is organizing the weeklong event to provide riders on the shuttle bus with free entertainment, music, candy, trivia for prizes and a chance to win an iPad 2.
Entertainment is provided every weekday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on four decorated Spirit buses on routes 1 and 2. Folklorama performers will be on board today, Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, various buskers will fill the buses with song.
Buses run every 15 minutes.
