Outfielder Fehlandt Lentini has made a return to the Winnipeg Goldeyes, after being signed to the team on Tuesday.
Lentini is already known to local fans, having played with the Fish from 2006 to 2008, where he posted a .315 batting average and a team record 95 doubles. Lentini’s impressive stats tie former Goldeye Max Poulin.
The 33-year-old played the 2009 and 2010 seasons in the Golden Baseball League before joining the Amarillo Sox this year.
The Goldeyes continue a four-game series with the Sioux Falls Pheasants tonight at Shaw Park. Game time is 7 p.m.
