St. James Councillor Scott Fielding has called a community meeting tonight to discuss the rash of arsons in the area.
In the past 10 days, there have been six fires reported, causing concern for neighbourhood residents.
Members of the Winnipeg Police Service and arson task force will discuss the problem with residents.
The meeting is open to anyone and will be held at Sturgeon Heights Community Centre, 210 Rita Street, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
