Milt Stegall Lending His Name to Scholarship, Golf Tourney

Former Winnipeg Blue Bomber Milt Stegall will be in town today to present scholarships to student athletes.

The CFL’s all-time touch down leader will present to two recipients of the scholarship named in his honour.

The Manitoba Foundation for Sports Scholarships (MFSS) winners include 12 high school students and six university students. The top applicant in each category is awarded the Milt Stegall Scholarship.

Recipients of the awards are from Carmen, East St. Paul, Grosse Isle, Morris, Oak Bluff, Sandy Lake, Stonewall, and Winnipeg.

The presentations will be made at the Sport for Life Centre, 145 Pacific Avenue, at 10 a.m.

Stegall is also in Winnipeg to host the Manitoba Lotteries Blue Bomber Alumni Golf Classic at Pine Ridge Golf Club this afternoon.
