Delegates from Ukraine will be in Winnipeg this week to discuss local economic development with city officials.
City of Winnipeg staff will host the 12 delegates today and Tuesday to see how the best practices can be adapted in Ukraine as part of economic development projects beginning this November.
The meetings will see the delegates tour the Chief Peguis Extension project and view some of the projects in the downtown including the work taking place at the Union Bank Tower for Red River College.
City Council endorsed the participation in the Local Economic Development Fellowship Program in February.
