The Street Corner Symphony is set to perform as part of Jazz on Wheels Wednesday at Rossbrook House.

Steve Kirby, director of jazz studies at the University of Manitoba, envisioned the annual idea. Now in its sixth season, the event includes free concerts at community events, and is a program that helps bring live music into the community.

The free concert begins at 5 p.m. at 658 Ross Avenue.

The nine-piece band will next perform at the Sherbrook Street Festival on Saturday, September 10 at Sherbrook and Wolseley Avenue.
