A fundraiser in June for the MS Society of Canada ended up raising $1,600 for the organization.
Through Ford’s Drive One 4 UR Community program, the vehicle manufacturer donated $20 for each person who test drove a car at Parkside Ford Lincoln on June 11.
Proceeds raised will go toward the MS Walk Team, Mass Synergy.
The Ford dealership ranked 10th overall throughout Canada in the “friends and family” category.
A cheque presentation to the team will be made by Ford at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon at 2000 Main Street.
Since the program began 2010, 25,000 test drives have raised more than $460,000 for organizations and community groups throughout Canada.
