VIDEO: Manitoba-Made ‘Goon’ Hockey Movie Trailer

The trailer for the made-in-Manitoba movie “Goon” has hit the Internet. The flick stars Sean William Scott and Liev Schrieber, who play rival hockey enforcers in the “rather violent-looking comedy,” according to the synopsis.

The movie was filmed in Brandon, Portage la Prairie and Winnipeg. If you watch closely, you can see the MTS Centre logo at one point in the teaser trailer.

The film is scheduled for release in 2012.
