The city will close the northbound lanes of Shaftesbury Boulevard Tuesday morning from McCreary Road to West Taylor Boulevard.
The approximately five-week closure will begin at 6 a.m. and is part of the continuing work on the nearby IKEA worksite.
Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes such as Kenaston Boulevard.
Transit route 95 will continue to service the Shaftesbury Park Retirement Residence during the closure.
