Bisons Capture Team Golf Title in Minnesota

The University of Manitoba Bison men’s golf team captured the team title over the weekend in Minnesota.

The Bisons competed at the 2011 St. John’s Invitational two-day tournament at Greystone and Blackberry Ridge Golf Course in Sauk Centre and Sartell, Minnesota.

Bison Bryce Barr finished second in individual final standing after firing a 150 score (77-73) for +6 final result and only one stroke away from first place.

The team finished with an overall score of 611 (306-305) and +35 on both Par 72 courses. The team competed against 20 other squads.

The Bisons next head to Oxbow, North Dakota for the Erv Kaiser Invitational, held today and Tuesday at the Oxbow Country Club.
