After 15 years of waiting, the puck will finally drop tonight when the Winnipeg Jets make their pre-season debut at MTS Centre.
The Jets will face the Columbus Blue Jackets in a split-squad game, with half the team in Columbus and the other half in Winnipeg.
Some of the Jets’ biggest names will remain at home, including Dustin Byfuglien, Andrew Ladd and Zach Bogosian.
Fans unable to watch the action in person can still see the game on the new TSN Jets channel. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.

The Jets’ next pre-season game is in Nashville on Saturday. The next home game will be September 28 when the Jets host Carolina.
The season home opener is October 9 against the Montreal Canadiens at MTS Centre.
