If Tuesday night’s pre-season game between the Winnipeg Jets and Columbus Blue Jackets wasn’t enough to satisfy your appetite for the return of professional hockey in the city, the University of Manitoba may be able to help.
The university still has its popular collection of Jets memorabilia on display, with 741 Jets hockey programs from games played from December 1975 to April 1996.
The valuable collection also includes photographs of Winnipeg Jets players and action shots that are part of the Winnipeg Tribune
Memorabilia is on public display on the main floor of the Elizabeth Dafoe Library at the U of M’s Fort Garry Campus from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm daily.
