Winnipeg Jets Release Eight from Training Camp

The Winnipeg Jets cut ties with eight players Thursday, releasing a group from the 2011-12 training camp roster.

A number of players return to the WHL, including Adam Lowry (Swift Current Broncos), Kendal McFaull (Moose Jaw Warriors), Sebastian Owuya (Medicine Hat Tigers) and Zach Yuen (Tri-City Americans).

Also released were Austen Brassard of the Bellville Bulls (OHL) and Ivan Telegin of the Barrie Colts (OHL). Mike Kirkpatrick goes to the St. John’s IceCaps (AHL), while Levko Koper was also released.
