The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed seven players to their practice roster Tuesday, hopefully making up for the deluge of injuries the team suffered within the past week.
Signed were import receiver Kurt Adams, import defensive end Quentin Davie, import running back Bloi-Dei Dorzon, import quarterback Adam Froman, import linebacker Javon McKinnon, import defensive back Darrell Pasco and non-import running back, and Nick Fitzgibbon.
Running back Fred Reid and non-import running back Carl Volny will miss the remainder of the season with torn ACL injuries, while quarterback Buck Pierce and backup QB Alex Brink are questionable for play this weekend from their injuries.
The football club also announced defensive back Jovon Johnson was named the Defensive Player of the Week by the CFL.
The Blue Bombers face the Montreal Alouettes Friday at Canad Inns Stadium. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
