RCMP have made a significant seizure of counterfeit items from a Winnipeg retailer.
On September 23, a search warrant was executed on a store in the 300 block of St. Anne’s Road as part of an ongoing investigation.
Police seized approximately $155,000.00 worth of counterfeit items, including designer jewelry, clothing and accessories. Brands of merchandise included Tiffany & Co., Bvlgari, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Juicy Couture, Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Chanel, Coach, D&G, Prada, and Louis Vuitton.
Charges are being considered under the Copyright and Trademark Acts.
Earlier this month, RCMP raided a store inside Portage Place mall and seized $500,000 worth of counterfeit merchandise.
