Members of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers will collect shoes today in support of More Than Shoes, which helps fit children with new, properly fitted shoes and boots.
In partnership with Project Echo, Doug Brown and Obby Khan will be at the Bomber Store signing autographs and taking pictures with fans this afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. as part of the charity shoe drive.
Those in attendance are asked to bring a new pair of shoes sizes youth 13 to adult 9 to the Bomber Store at Canad Inns Stadium.
Each donor will receive a free $10 gift certificate to be used in the store and a free Blue Bomber gift valued at $10. Tax Receipts are available for all donations over $20.
