Strike Averted at MTS, Union Signs Collective Agreement

October 4, 2011 10:05 AM | News

MTS has reached a tentative collective agreement with its union, staving off any fears that customers would be left hanging if workers went on strike.

The 780 Manitoba-based MTS employees represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) are responsible for installation and repair of services.

The agreement is subject to ratification by IBEW members.

Results will be known later this month.
