A 25-year-old Winnipeg man was killed Thursday morning after his vehicle rolled just east of Melita, Manitoba.
RCMP say the 2002 Ford pickup truck the man was driving lost control while travelling westbound on Highway 3 shortly after 8 a.m.. The vehicle left the highway and went into the ditch, rollover at least once.
The driver and only occupant in the vehicle was pronounced deceased while being transported to hospital. His name isn’t being released.
Alcohol and seat belt use are not considered factors in the collision.
Police are continuing to investigate.
