Winnipeg Harvest will launch its “Share Your Thanks” food drive on Saturday, putting the call out for the public to donate for the approaching holiday season.
This is the food bank’s biggest food drive of the year and will replenish the shelves left empty during the slow summer months.
Community leaders, volunteers and Harvest’s executive director David Northcott will kick off the drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
The public can make a donation anytime by dropping by 1085 Winnipeg Avenue.
