A single-vehicle crash has killed a woman from the RM of Elton.
RCMP say the accident happened Sunday at about 2:30 a.m. on Highway 270, about six kilometres south of Rapid City.
The 20-year-old woman was driving a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire heading southbound when her vehicle left the highway and rolled into the ditch.
She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Seat belt use is considered a factor in the crash.
The woman’s name isn’t being released.
Police continue to investigate.
