‘Giving Stone’ Necklace to Support United Way

‘Giving Stone’ Necklace to Support United Way

Colleen Dacquay of United Way Winnipeg and jewelry designer Hilary Druxman show off a newly-designed necklace being sold in support of the United Way's many community programs. Titled 'The Giving Stone,' the unique piece was inspired by a pebble from Lake Winnipeg and is a reminder that people's actions, however small, create ripples like those from a stone cast into still water. The piece was launched Thursday during a wine and cheese reception at Hilary Druxman Design. You can purchase your own for $35 at 258 McDermot Avenue. Proceeds will go to support the United Way.
