Last year's Zombie Walk (TED GRANT / CHRISD.CA FILE)
City streets will be filled with the walking dead Friday night for the annual Winnipeg Zombie Walk.
This year’s ghoulish event, which is a prelude to Halloween, gains more attention and participants each year.
Organizers are expecting thousands of people to attend, who will walk from Stephen Juba Park to The Forks, and eventually make their way to the Manitoba Legislature.
Afterwards, the zombies will converge at the Zoo/Ozzy’s for Defcon Z for the official after party.
If you want your photo taken during the walk, bring a non-perishable food item for Winnipeg Harvest, or a $2 donation. Staff from Henry’s Photography will be making the rounds to capture the spooky moments.
The walk begins at 7 p.m.
