Federal NDP interim leader Nycole Turmel was in Winnipeg briefly Saturday where she met with Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger. The two discussed numerous issues, including the recent spring flooding and her push on the federal government to fund a diversion channel to alleviate Lake Manitoba water levels. Among other things, Turmel and Selinger discussed tonight’s Winnipeg Jets game against the Phoenix Coyotes.
