Manitoba Museum Reuniting Staff from Past 40 Years

The Manitoba Museum is attempting to track down former employees from the past 40 years for its first reunion event.

Anyone who has ever worked or volunteered at the museum, planetarium and science centre is invited to step forward.

The museum will hold its inaugural staff and volunteer reunion on Saturday, November 12 at 7 p.m.

“It’s hard to believe that more than 40 years have passed since the opening of the Planetarium in 1968 and Museum in 1970,” said Museum CEO Claudette Leclerc. “Wherever you are, wherever life has taken you, it is time to get together, reminisce, share stories, and pay tribute to your achievements.”

Reunion tickets are $15 per person. Tickets are available to current or former staff and volunteers, plus one guest per attendee, at the museum box office or online.

Entertainment and refreshments will be provided during the evening.
