It was a foggy start to the day Thursday in Winnipeg, as motorists crawled along their morning commute to make it into work or school safely.
Dense fog accumulated overnight, creating for near zero visibility on surrounding highways, including the Perimeter Highway, where several accidents were reported by 9 a.m.
Drivers were taking it easy, as the ice fog also made for slippery conditions on the roadways.
The skies should clear up by this afternoon, where Environment Canada is calling for a high of 8°C.
