A comedic play that’s both provocative and touching will debut November 3 at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre.

“In The Next Room or the vibrator play” (its actual title), has been nominated for Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize.

Sarah Ruhl’s stimulating comedy shines a light on the desire for physical connection and emotional intimacy in an era when women were coming into their own,” a news release from MTC read.

Tickets range in price from $19.95 to $42 and are available through the MTC Box Office or at MTC.mb.ca.

The play will run until November 19.
