Metro Winnipeg is hiring a reporter/photographer for its free daily newspaper.
Responsibilities include generating story ideas and covering assigned stories in a range of news styles, including breaking news, features, entertainment, lifestyle, and sports. The candidate would also write quick web versions of breaking news stories for Metro’s website and work early mornings/evenings as required.
A few of the requirements include two to three years of daily newspaper experience, strong reporting skills, and well-versed in CP style.
