A 34-year-old Winnipeg man was killed Saturday after being hit by a semi truck on the Perimeter Highway.
The accident happened at about 1:45 p.m. between Wilkes Avenue and Roblin Boulevard.
RCMP say the man was attempting to cross the highway when he was struck by the truck, driven by a 34-year-old Winnipeg woman. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate.
The man’s name isn’t being released.
