Winnipeg artist and clothing design label Lennard Taylor is preparing to host its first holiday open house next week.

The seven-day event will highlight signature custom couture clothing designs and oil painting installations from the locally-created brand. LT was established by Andrew Lennard Taylor Bickford, and his wares have been worn by celebrities across the country, including those who have walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival.

On the artsy side of his creations, Bickford’s oil paintings have been picked up by the likes of actress Mia Farrow and former U.S. vice-president Al Gore.

“Regardless of age or background, any person can appreciate fashion and individuality, of which my clothing designs and paintings are tailored to fulfill,” Bickford said.

The open house begins Friday, November 25 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (with an opening night reception) and continues through to December 2 at LT’s studio, Unit 1B, 89 Princess Street.
