It may be the off-season, but the Winnipeg Goldeyes will be going to bat by spending a day with the city’s youth.
The Goldeyes 2012 Princess Auto Winter Skills Camp will give young baseball players a day of instruction on and ins and outs of the game.
The camp is set for Saturday, January 7 at the University of Winnipeg’s Duckworth Centre. Kids aged 8-13 will be provided with six hours of instruction, a lunch from Subway and prizes.
Kids can sign up at Goldeyes.com for a cost of $65. Space in the camp is limited and the deadline to register is December 16.
