Dalnavert’s Annual ‘Christmas Carol’ Begins December 7

November 22, 2011 6:26 AM | Entertainment

With Christmas just over a month away, the Dalavert Museum is preparing for a slew of performances of “A Christmas Carol.”

Charles Dickens‘ classic holiday tale will run from December 7 to 23 and will include three talented Winnipeg performers. The performance of this story has become one of the city’s most beloved traditions at Dalnavert. This year, audiences are invited to choose from three unique and spellbinding treatments by Ron Robinson (December 7-9), Ian Mozdzen (December 14-16), and Celeste Sansregret (December 21-23).

Guests attending the performances can tour the historic home, where Winnipeg’s own Pot-Pourri Singers, in Victorian costume, will treat audiences to a round of Christmas carols.

Doors open nightly at 6 p.m., with the performance beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 17 and under. To purchase tickets, call (204) 943-2835 or e-mail bookings@mhs.mb.ca.
