The top high school volleyball teams in the province will meet tonight and Thursday in the semi-finals of the 2011 4A Provincial Volleyball Championship.
The varsity girls semi-final matchup between Crocus Plains and Miles Macdonnell will get underway at 6 p.m. this evening, followed by St. Mary’s taking on Glenlawn at 8 p.m.
On Thursday, the varsity boys semi-final will see Miles Macdonnell and Lord Selkirk go at it beginning at 6 p.m., while Mennonite Brethren and St. Paul’s play at 8 p.m.
All games are held at the Investors Group Athletic Centre at the University of Manitoba.
Defending champions River East girls and Dakota boys failed to advance to the Final Four this year.
The championship finals are Monday, November 28 at IGAC, beginning with the girls final at 6 p.m., followed by the boys match at 8 p.m. Both matches will air live on Shaw TV.
