Arctic Explorer Delivering Keynote to Grant Park Students

A renowned Arctic explorer and scientist will discuss the many challenges facing the region to Grant Park High School students today.

David Barber will deliver the keynote at the “Sustainability: A Better Tomorrow” conference at 9 a.m. The conference is meant to educate students about the three pillars of sustainability: social justice, the environment and the economy.

Barber is only one of many guests attending the conference. The day will also feature presenters from the Winnipeg Haiti Solidarity Group, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights , Siloam Mission, NEEDS Inc., and the Ugandan Orphans Fund.
