Passengers arriving to Winnipeg’s new James Richardson International Airport will be able to purchase liquor as of Monday.
That’s when the Manitoba Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) will open its first Liquor Mart Express store.
The 600-square-foot store will include 220 listings of the most popular selling wines, spirits and beers in the province, including products unique to Manitoba. The bright white interior features flooring panels made with recycled glass from crushed spirits bottles and lighting that mimics a sweeping sky.
The store will operate Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
