The University of Winnipeg has gone 3D, giving visitors to its website an interactive look around campus.

UWinnipeg 3D Virtual Tour is a first for a post-secondary school in the country, allowing users to zoom to 13 locations around campus.

Students can check out the AnX, Asper Centre for Theatre & Film, Buhler Centre, Duckworth Centre, Helen Betty Osborne Building, McFeetors Hall: Great-West Life Student Residence, the proposed Multi-Purpose Field House Health and Wellness Complex, Richardson College for the Environment Science Complex, UWSA Daycare Centre and Wesley Hall.

The technology was designed and developed by Winnipeg-based Whirlwind Media Group.

Future additions to the 3D website will include animations and video clips.
