Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz
Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz will be the guest of honour Wednesday, November 30 during a luncheon hosted by the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce.
Ritz will be in Winnipeg to discuss Bill C-18, which he tabled in October. The legislation will give Western Canadian grain farmers the right to choose how they sell their wheat and barley.
The luncheon is open to the public and will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fort Garry Hotel. Registration opens at 11 a.m.
