SMD Foundation Auctioning Pair of Winnipeg Jets Tickets

November 28, 2011 7:56 AM | Sports

The most sought-after tickets in the city may be sold out, but the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities (SMD) Foundation/Easter Seals Manitoba is auctioning off a pair of Winnipeg Jets tickets for their game against the Phoenix Coyotes.

The December 1 game at MTS Centre will see the new hockey club play their former selves in the Coyotes. The SMD Foundation is auctioning off a pair of seats in the lower bowl (section 107, row 14, seats 17 and 18).

All proceeds generated by the auction will go directly to SMD Foundation/Easter Seals Manitoba to support vital programs and services that reach over 47,000 children, youth and adults with disabilities.

The bidding starts at face value of the two tickets ($319.20), with everything in excess of the face value being eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

Bidding closes on Tuesday, November 29 at 12 a.m CT. The winner will be notified by phone on Wednesday, November 30 by 12 p.m. and must pay by Visa/MasterCard at that time. If the winner cannot be reached, the next highest bidder will be selected.
