Winnipeg Jets fans will be able to purchase team licence plates for their vehicles beginning today.
As announced in November, Jets plates will be available at Autopac brokers throughout the province for $70.
An initial supply of 20,000 plates will be available, and more could be produced based on future demand.
The Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation will receive $30 from the sale of each plate, while the remaining proceeds will be shared between Manitoba Public Insurance and the province.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers rolled out their own custom plates earlier this year, which quickly sold out.
