$1 Million in Grants to Study Responsible Gaming

Manitoba Lotteries will provide up to $1 million in grants for researchers to study responsible gaming in the province.

Researchers seeking to study the prevention and treatment of problem gambling can solicit for grants beginning January 31, 2012.

Four categories of grants will be available, from conference and studentship grants ranging from $2,000 to $60,000 per year, to small and large grants from $50,000 to $450,000 per year, respectively.
