Wanted: A new pitching coach for the Winnipeg Goldeyes.
The baseball club announced Friday that Brendan Sagara has left the team to become the field manager of the Maui Strong Warriors of the North American League.
Sagara spent just one season in Winnipeg, but produced one of the best pitching staffs in independent baseball in 2011. The Goldeyes led the American Association last season with a 3.98 ERA.
The Goldeyes also announced they have sent pitcher Clayton Uyechi back to Maui to complete a trade from last season.
