The Festival du Voyageur unveiled the Official Voyageur Family Tuesday, leading up to February’s annual winter festival.
The St-Vincent-Gagnon family was chosen as ambassadors for a two-year mandate. Daniel, his wife Jocelyne and their children Katia, Miguel and Cabrel will act as spokespersons of the festival and represent the joie de vivre of the voyageur at community events, nursing homes, and elementary schools.
The St-Vincent-Gagnon family is well-known in the community and replaces the outgoing Chamberland family.
Festival du Voyageur runs February 17-26, 2012.
