Fire crews battled a massive house fire just west of Highway 75 in St. Norbert early Monday morning.
The fire in the two-storey home on Minerva Avenue, just south of Winnipeg, was reported to have started in the attached garage at about 6:20 a.m.
Firefighters didn’t have a water supply on scene and had to make runs back and forth to hydrants on Pembina Highway.
All three occupants of the home are said to have made it out safely.
The home is considered a total loss and damage is estimated at $400,000.
The cause has been deemed accidental.
