Two people were injured and a man was sent to hospital following a two-vehicle crash near Portage la Prairie Wednesday.
Manitoba RCMP say the head-on crash happened just before noon on Highway 240 between Portage and Southport.
According to police, a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck travelling northbound crossed the centre line and collided with a southbound Chevrolet Avalanche.
The 37-year-old Portage la Prairie man driving the S-10 was taken to Portage hospital before being transferred to Winnipeg with undetermined injuries. The two people in the Avalanche suffered minor injuries.
Traffic on Highway 240 is being detoured around the crash scene until about 5 p.m.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.
