To celebrate Family Literacy Day on January 27 and I Love to Read Month in February, the Winnipeg Public Library is hosting several “fun days” for the entire family beginning today.

The library aims to promote reading, writing and language skills through exciting games and creative activities as families move between multiple stations.

The Millennium Library, River Heights Library, and St. James — Assiniboia Library will host events from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today.

The event is free, open to all and no registration is required.

Further reading events will be held on select weekends until the end of March.
