The Golden Jet is returning to Winnipeg to celebrate his historic contract signing with the Winnipeg Jets.
Bobby Hull will be in the city February 24 for two separate book signings, marking the 40th anniversary he signed on with the Jets for a whopping (at the time) $1 million. Hull will sign “The Golden Jet: A Spectacular Career in Stunning Photographs” in Winnipeg Square from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by another signing at Canad Inns Polo Park from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Hull’s book traces his life and career from the days as a youngster learning to skate on the Bay of Quinte to his current role as a Blackhawks ambassador.
Fans will be able to purchase copies of The Golden Jet and meet Hull in person, as well as bid on hockey memorabilia with all proceeds going to support the Amadeus Steen Foundation.
