‘Moon Voices’ Speak on Challenges of Indigenous Women

Indigenous women students and scholars will speak during a free, public event today at the University of Winnipeg, meant to creative an open dialogue on the many challenges and barriers they still face.

“Moon Voices” will be presented by the Institute of Women and Gender Studies and the Aboriginal Women Reclaiming Our Power group.

The event will be held in Convocation Hall, 515 Portage Avenue, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. A similar event will be held February 8 at 6 p.m. in UWinnipeg’s Bulman Student Centre.
