City of Winnipeg crews are continuing to search for the source of a water main break on Ellice Avenue from Wednesday night.

At around 10:30 p.m., water began flowing in the area of Ellice and Carlton Street. The city says crews are ready to begin repair work as soon as the leak has been located.
“We expect the repair to be complete late this afternoon or early evening,” a spokesperson said earlier today.
Two eastbound lanes on the south side of Ellice will remain closed until the water main is repaired.
