Thirty-seven students from the University of Manitoba will play the role of patients and caregivers during an overnight exercise tonight.

Nightmare Night Care will provide a mix of nursing, medical and pharmacy students the opportunity to understand the patient experience, practice skills required for inter-disciplinary teamwork for patient-centered care, experience night shift issues and responsibilities, and practice clinical skills in a safe environment.

The Helen Glass Centre for Nursing on the Fort Garry campus will become the “Helen Glass Hospital for Sick Students” as of 7 p.m. until Saturday at 8 a.m. Anyone wishing to visit the students can go to rooms 460 and 470 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
